Welcome! If you are considering relocating to Austin, you couldn’t have found a better place to live, work and raise a family. We’re not perfect but most of our residents would agree that if you’re going to live in Texas, live in Austin. As a matter of fact, we have several clients who had to move away for a job transfer only to return a year or two later – they just couldn’t stand being away.
Austin is indeed a beautiful city and has something to offer for everyone. We have an abundance of lakes, beautiful rolling hills, hike & bike trails, lots of great golf courses, an active nightlife complete with live music, plenty of parks and several highly acclaimed schools and churches from every faith. When you’re hungry you can always find a local eatery where you can get fresh, locally raised edibles.
We’re famous for our annual SXSW music festival, Austin City Limits (ACL), and Circuit of Americas F1 race track. Oh yeah – how could we forget – Austin is home to the University of Texas! (We also have several small private universities who call Austin home.) Many of us are convinced that at least half of the Austin population is comprised of former students who came to Austin to go to school and never left.
For potential homeowners, one of the best things about Austin is that we have a diversified economy. Our economy is not dependent on any one industry to keep it afloat. That means our property values tend to be more stable and are not as sensitive to fluctuations as they are in many parts of the country. We are consistently ranked in the top 10 among the best places to live in the U.S. by major business publications. Thankfully, Texas is one of the few states left that does not have a state income tax. Our state and local governments go to great efforts to attract and keep good businesses.
Well, we could go on and on but don’t take our word for it. Check out the Austin Relocation Guide http://austinrelocationguide.com/ and get all the answers you’re looking for.
